A Month and a Half Later, Give or Take

Dan on a hike at the ranch for Christmas

Well, we have been back in the States for over a month and a half, but it took me awhile to post about my Euskadi experience. The last month and half has been fun, but nothing too exciting. I've gone to a couple of ultimate frisbee tournaments and on a couple of awesome hikes, but overall it's kinda back to the same old routine.

For Christmas we went up to the ranch, it was good to see all the kids and hike around the desert. Back in Reno, Dan and I took our kids to Pyramid Lake for a day which was beautiful and relaxing. We wanted to hit up the hot springs out there, but there were a bunch of people at them so we decided to wait for another time. We also went to Washoe Lake one day for a picnic, some cuddling and some disc tossing. It was a gorgeous day, which turned out to be really warm.

The one big piece of news is that Dan's brother Mike rented out his house in Reno and Bodie can no longer stay there. So; her, the dogs and I have moved back up to the ranch. We knew the time was coming and it's finally here. Being at the ranch is nice, but Dan is still in Reno for his job, so it's difficult for us being away from him and for him being away from us. We are hoping that this is a temporary arrangement, but we'll have to see. I love being up here it's just so hard to be away from the community, my mom and especially Dan. We would love to buy a place in or around Reno where we could have Bodie, but it's a hard time right now.
