Quote of the Week, Perhaps a Bit Longer

Snow in the Sierras

Wow, last week was beautiful. The sun was shining, the wind was calm and it really felt like summer was on it's way. Yesterday, however, mother nature decided to through a snow storm at us. The wind was howling all day and then around 3:00 pm it started drizzling. My sister and I thought it would rain for a couple of seconds and pass, but as we walked the dogs, the rain didn't retreat, it increased in intensity! By the time I left to pick Dan up from work, the rain had turned into snow and the wind was still blowing--it was a full-blown blizzard! The blizzard only lasted about thirty minutes, thank goodness. I am so ready for summer and the activities that come with it. Bring on the warm weather!!!!
