10-16-2008: Our Arizona Ride

I'm sitting in the sun and it feels so good, the last few riding days were fairly cold and very windy. We are now camped on forest service land between Ash Fork and Williams. Today we rode on the Freeway, I-40, for a bit, a strange experience. It was nice because there were big shoulders and we were far from the traffic. But, it wasn't nice because it smelt like exhaust and there was a lot of sharp debris that we had to dodge. The last 2 nights we stayed at the KOA in Seligman, AZ. Dan had to get a new tire, his shredded. A friendly man from the KOA gave Dan a ride to Prescott to get a new tire. Seligman was very touristy and had a yummy burger and ice cream shop called The Snow Cap. The last night we listened to the final presidential debates - Obama vs Mc Cain - who will it be...
