Snow--For Real This Time!

Yay! snow! finally!

I posted back in November about it being the first snow of the season, however, I'm not sure if that snow can actually count as the real first snow--it barely covered the ground and melted away before noon.

November snow. And even though you can't tell from this picture, it was snowing.

Personally, I think today, January 23rd should be considered the first real snow of the season. We woke up to about 1/2 an inch on the ground. It wasn't snowing then, but soon after it started snowing and it hasn't stopped. This is definitely the first day I've thought "Yes, a snow day" and have felt like getting cozy in a nice warm blanket with a hot cup of tea or coco. It is finally here, snow, this region needs all the precipitation it can get and it was starting to look very scary. Hopefully it will keep it up and we will have a nice wet Winter and Spring.

Bodie and Casper hiding from the snow, this is Casper's first real snow.
