Quote of the Week, Perhaps a Bit Longer

Winter Wonder Land

Wow, after a winter of very little snow, February has brought us much. Last Tuesday it started snowing and didn't stop until Friday night. The result was a late school start on both Wednesday and Thursday and no school on Friday. When school is cancelled so is my work, which was a nice little surprise and with it being the presidents weekend we ended up with a 4 day weekend instead of a 3 day weekend--a nice little holiday.

Now a week later it started snowing on Thursday evening and this morning, Friday morning, we have another late start. Unfortunately we were supposed to take a group of students out snowshoeing today, but it has been canceled due to the late start. It was going to be my first snowshoe trip at my new job, I was really looking forward to it, but it will have to wait.

being snowed in was very nice, now it's raining and the pitter patter on our roof is making me sleepy :)
